Over the last 15 years, my husband and I have established and sold a number of businesses, including our Hong Kong-based international conference and tradeshow management firm, and an Internet email-branding software company. My role has always been in customer support, with a strong focus on maximizing return on investment for our customers. While living in Silicon Valley, we became avid skiers. Our two boys (now 10 and 13) began ski racing, and our life became more and more tied to the mountains.
