I moved to Steamboat Springs from South Bend, Indiana 10 years ago and admit to succumbing to the curse of the Yampa Valley. After taking family skiing vacations for a number of years to the Vail and Aspen areas, my family family fell in love with the Yampa Valley and decided to make it our home.
My daughter Keri, remains in the Chicago area with her husband Doug. My son, Coleman, followed his parents to Steamboat after graduating from Indiana University, and is now a broker/owner with Colorado Group Realty.
I am in my 34th year as a real estate broker and hold the prestigious CRB (Certified Real Estate Broker/Manager) designation. While a significant portion of my career has been spent in the commercial and development arenas, I enjoy the one-on-one contact with people looking to buy second or primary homes in the area. The "client for life" motto of Colorado Group Realty has made many of my clients some of our closest friends.
As a full-time resident, I feel responsible for my community and have involved myself in many community advocacy groups with strong emphasis in the arts. I am an avid golfer and a member of the Catamount Ranch & Club, but I continue to enjoy rounds at Haymaker and the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club. We have some of the finest courses in Colorado right here in Steamboat Springs. I’d be happy to show you our community, set up a tee time, or meet you at the Gondola. Fishing excursions will have to be arranged with my son though, as my patience with fly-fishing is not exemplary!
