I feel privileged to be part of the top-notch sales team at Colorado Group Realty. After I received my degree in Marketing, I worked with Texaco and Quaker State Oil in their Dallas marketing divisions. In 1977, I joined Coldwell Banker Real Estate as a Sales Associate. After experiencing success at Coldwell Banker, I moved to Merrill Lynch Real Estate and was asked to open and manage a new office for Merrill Lynch.
Unafraid of a new challenge, I saw an opportunity in the up-and-coming field of home inspections and decided to pursue my dream of opening my own company. After twelve successful years in the inspection business, I was recruited by a large property management company in Dallas to manage their property maintenance division.
In 1994, my family and I decided to move to Steamboat. I joined the Prudential Trimontane Real Estate office and was in the top 4% in sales for all Prudential Real Estate Sales Associates in the U.S in 1998 and 1999. With Mason & Morse, I was asked to be a part of the successful sales team for the Catamount Ranch and Club development in Steamboat Springs. In 2003, nine colleagues and I restructured and formed Colorado Group Realty LLC, and I have been delighted to see the tremendous growth and success the new company has experienced. I was the company's Top Producer in 2003. I feel my experience and knowledge in marketing, sales, managing, home inspection, and property management has made me a well-rounded real estate professional. My wife, Bridget, is also a Broker/Owner with Colorado Group. As a team we have over 34 years of real estate experience. I feel our strengths compliment each other and offer a win-win situation for our clients.
We have two daughters. Our older daughter, Brittin, graduated from the University of Kansas and was a graphic designer for Hallmark in Kansas City. Our daughter, Kelly, is a graduate of the University of Colorado in Boulder. They recently decided to join forces and open a boutique in Denver's downtown Larimer Square.
While enjoying family time and activities such as hiking and travel, I also enjoy fishing, hunting, golf, horseshoes, poker, and motorcycle riding with my friends.
